Radiant vOWS Trigger Warnings

Below is a list of potential triggers for Radiant Vows. While I would love for everyone to be able to enjoy my books, it's more important to me for my readers to feel safe.​

Triggering content includes:

• depictions of abuse: including physical, sexual, verbal, mental, and psychological

• graphic violence & war: battles, mass killings, and references to past genocidal wars against vampires

• genocide & species-based hatred: systemic persecution and slaughter of vampires by humans (including by the mmc in his past)

• incurable illness/terminal illness: a slow, painful magical plague that causes physical deterioration, weakness, and chronic suffering for the fmc

• political marriage/forced marriage: arranged/forced union with heavy power imbalance and lack of real choice

• captivity & confinement: forced proximity, surveillance, and restricted freedom

• emotional & psychological manipulation: court intrigue, betrayal, gaslighting, and power plays

• death & loss: on-page and off-page deaths, including references to family/friends lost in war

• explicit sexual content: open-door spice with power-imbalance dynamics (including hate-sex/rough elements)

• mentions of blood & blood play: vampiric elements, feeding, and blood-related intimacy

• suicidal ideation/self-sacrifice: themes of choosing death or risking everything for a greater cause

• torture & physical harm: references to past and present torture, burning, and weaponized sunlight against vampires

• heavy political intrigue & betrayal: assassination plots, secret rebellions, and layered lies

additional notes:

• there is no rape or non-con between the main couple.

• the romance is a true slow-burn enemies-to-lovers with intense hate for a large portion of the book.

• the story contains graphic descriptions of pain from the fmc’s illness and the violent world.​​
